Panoramic Klaipeda and Palanga

This tour combines the sites of Klaipeda town along with the marvel of the Botanical garden and Amber museum in Palanga.
You will start the tour travelling by bus from the harbour to the old town of Klaipėda and drive through the old town streets with view stops at the essential sights, which date from the 18th century. You will stop at the Theatre Square – the heart of Klaipeda old town. The square has been renovated and now sparkles with new colours. The main accent of the square is the “Taravos Anikė” sculpture. In the square you will also see craftsmen: weavers, carvers at their work. From the Old Town you will continue towards Palanga passing through residential areas of Klaipeda.
Upon arrival to Palanga you will walk to the Palanga Botanical Park built in 1897-1907, which is home to over 200 species of trees and shrubs. The neo-Renaissance style palace built by Count Tiškevičius in 1897 now houses the Amber museum. Your stop at the museum will give an excellent view to the museum and beautiful gardens and white swans in the ponds. The park is widely considered to be the richest and most beautiful park in Lithuania.
