Elegant combination of Medieval town and Tallinn best highlights tour.
Your tour will take you through the centre of Tallinn to the Kadriorg park originally founded by Peter the Great in honor of his wife Catherine. Then you will be taken to the Song Festival Ground, the site of the Estonia’s national song festivals. You will be driven through a beautiful residential area covered in lush greenery to the popular Pirita beach, where you will view the largest convent of Old Livonia, St. Bridget’s convent and enjoy beautiful seaside, and take pictures. Before the second part of the tour you make a photo stop at beautiful statue of Russalka (Mermaid), one of Estonia’s most famous monuments. Afterwards, your coach will take you to the Old City, past the city’s cultural heart of Tallinn, including modern hotels and shopping centers. You will arrive to the Upper Town, with its watchtowers, graceful spires and winding, cobbled streets. Upper Town tour will start with a visit to the Alexander Nevsky’s Cathedral, which is the largest and grandest cupola cathedral in Tallinn. You will be able to enjoy the sights of the 13th century Gothic style Dome Cathedral (St. Mary’s Cathedral). Nearby, from the terrace of the Upper Town you can enjoy magnificent views of the Lower Town with its red high-gabled roofs. This will be the final part of the tour, after which your coach will return you to the start point.
