Board your coach make a trip to Padise to visit the ruins of a Cistercian Order Monastery dating back to the 13th-14th centuries. Continue to the capital of Western Estonia, Haapsalu, also called the Venice of Northern Europe to visit the Episcopal Castle with the biggest single-nave cathedral in the Baltic States. The castle is famous for its romantic legend of everlasting love-it is the legend of White Lady appearing on the window of the castle on full moon nights over the last 600 years. After the castle visit, you will have lunch in the restaurant surrounded by the old castle walls before continuing your day with a guided walk along Haapsalu’s narrow streets with its early 20th century wooden houses. Haapsalu is well known for its warm seawater, curative mud and peaceful atmosphere. The first mud cure resort was founded there in 1825. News of the curative mud quickly reached the aristocracy of St. Petersburg and Haapsalu became a popular summer paradise. Russian czars and their families, Peter Tchaikovsky and other famous persons liked to spend their summer Holydays in Haapsalu.
