After the drive along one of the central city streets – Leninsky Prospect – you will see the place where the Koenigsberg Castle was founded by the Teutonic Order nights in 1255. Now the digs of the castle cellars are being held by archeologists. After driving through the Brandenburg Gate, the only gate that still carries its transport function, you will have a look at the Northern Railway station, opened in 1927. Another former church, a Church of St. Family, the Philharmonic Hall now, is later on your way, on Khmelnitsky Street. The tour includes the visit to the Medieval Cathedral, one of the two oldest buildings of the city.
