The tour begins in the Lower Town by visiting of Medieval forts, which first appeared during the early development of the medieval city in the latter 13th century, surrounded the downtown and town wall of medieval Tallinn. These three medieval towers, and the portion of the wall that connects them, are among the few towers open to tourists. Visitors can climb up for picturesque view of the red-tiled roofs of Old Town and Toompea hill. Proceed to the main Town Hall Square. View the gothic Town Hall, 15th century Pharmacy. Follow your guide to the Estonian Maritime Museum, located in the cannon tower Fat Margaret, forming a part of medieval defence system. The exposition on the history of Estonian maritime – ship and boat building, ports, navigational aids on the ships, lighthouses – is displayed on the four floors of the museum. Museum also have an open air ships exposition assembled in the historical Seaplane harbor and you have an opportunity to visit one of the museum ships, Steamer-icebreaker Suur Tõll.
