You will be taken through the cultural center of Tallinn along the lively main street viewing the highlights of the Estonian modern and the 19th century architecture. Approaching the Old Town, you will get fascinating views of the medieval city wall with its fairy-tale turrets. Leave the bus near Tall Herman Tower and walk to Palace Square to view the Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Next stop will be Dome Church, also named St. Mary’s Cathedral. After the Dome Church visit you will enjoy stunning views of the sea and the red-gabled roofs of the Lower Town from observation decks. Return to the buses to drive 40 miles to the Lahemaa National Park literally translates to “Land of Bays” and Estonia’s largest national park with a mix of coastal bluffs, dense forest, 18th-century manor houses and numerous lakes, rivers and waterfalls. You will see the crown jewel of the Lahemaa Park – Palmse Manor. The 18th-century Baroque house is filled with period furniture. You will also see Manor’s Park with pond and Garden, Palm Tree House, Distillery, Smithy. Tour continues to the Sagadi Manor House, now turned into a magnificent travel destination, environmental education and cultural center. From Sagadi you will continue to the fisherman’s village Altja, where lunch will be served to taste Estonian cuisine. After lunch you will return to your coaches to drive back.
